Two weeks out of the womb and Baby Letterman is already guest-starring in today's MONKEY MAN (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/monkeyman/index.html).

Also, a very lackluster TV RECOMMENDATIONS (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/tv/index.html) (nothing on coupled with me having no spare time this week = no fun!

And more!

Antony Teofilo (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/renaissance/index.html), our RENAISSANCE MAN, visits the set of THE GODFATHER OF GREEN BAY, starring the likes of Lauren Holly, Tony Goldwyn and a lot of the RENO 911 guys.

From Australia, this week's THE VELVET DOWN-UNDERGROUND (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/velvet/index.html) features a chat with the Brothers Russo, directors of the quirky WELCOME TO COLLINWOOD.

This week's MAIL SHOOT (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/mailshoot/index.html) has lots more COMICS 101 info and a bunch of new pics of the week, starring Benny and PAYCHECK and more.

Oh, and there's a teaser (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/brat/index.html) for a new Web comic coming here in early December--I'd be curious to get everyone's initial opinions.

More new news stories up, too, and if I ever get anything done on it, maybe a new ONE HAND CLAPPING from me, too. As I type this at 11:30 PM, though, that's starting to look unlikely...

Cool stuff, Ryall.

That Monkey Man was excellent.

Look forward to the new strip. When is it coming out?

December 9. Maybe another new one around then, too.

So far I'm digging the concept and art on Brat-Halla. It's original and just different enough it could be really good. As far as debuts go Femme Noir is a tough act to follow though.

The only hint I can give right now is that it just might be drawn by someone who has an episode of MONKEY MAN on his resume...

Am I the only one who was dissappointed in this weeks MonkeyMan? Maybe i just had super high hopes seeing it was going to be about Baby Letterman, but it just didn't do it for me. The jokes seemed like they were based on the Letterman of 15 years ago, I mean Teri Garr? I'm surprised Larry "Bud" Melman wasn't in there somewhere. I know that they can't all be great, but i'm just dissappointed in how this weeks turned out.

That new Toon looks good, though. can't wait to see it in Dec.

It's all about cycles. Harry Letterman is young so he's emulating younger Dave.

I'm just glad you chose to break your silent lurking with this observant, well-constructed post.

I think maybe Jay was right, Ryall they were making an army of supersmart, genetically enhanced monkeys in that lab. They've already learned to access web sites next thing you know they'll be typing legibly. And then where will we be ?
" No longer will we spank the monkey but..........."

it would take something like 1 supersmart monkey to write the perfect post on here, that doesn't sound impressive.
But thats a feat that still wouldn't be possible if we took all the brains of the lamers past, present and future and combined them into one.
