I must be losing my game, I seem to be the only person unimpressed when I played a demo of True crime about two months ago, maybe because I thought it was all in one like the matrix game, I ran up to someone in a shooting section and tried to melee expecting to go into some fisticuffs battle instead I think I just ended up being shot by people on screen. and then I tried the driving section and it just wasn't for me. Its very rare I try before I buy, its very rare I dont like a game too though. But I think here its just as well

I dig the GTA combo more than True Crime. I hate the music that comes with TC. I know that I can use my own soundtrack (on the XBOX) version, but I can do that with the XBOX GTA combo AND I get the other cool stations as well.

I guess it's a very real possibility that GTA has ruined me for a lot of future games. Those two games are so superior to anything else out there it will probably be years before another game can get close.

yeah, the demo i played a few months back also didn't impress me, but the game as a whole i dig very much. Actually, i was sort of dreading playing the full version until it booted up and i started having fun. The story really moves it well, and the snippets of action that the demo offered don't really do the game justice.

I will say tho, if you don't like hardcore gansta rap, get the Xbox version so you can play your own tunes, b/c that stuff is just rampant in the game...

As someone who has purchased both games (True Crime AND the GTA two-pack), let me surely say that the GTA pack is a much better value for the money.

True Crime can be beaten in about 6 or 7 hours, and while it's control system is deeper, targeting is easier, and the dialogue is funnier, I still think GTA is the better buy- it's way more fun, it has updated XBOX graphics, and has a lot MORE gameplay. GTA rules!
