Thou shalt not feel forsaken Sal! We are paying attention.

I don't know if the "BIG WAYS" are fool-proof, but next time some one tries them on me I will think of you. Keep up the good work!

i know that the strip description reads semi-autobiographical, but honestly that stairway scene totally happened!(different club though) that's never happened to me, i think; well not without a little chitchat or some drinks or dancing, and let me tell you it was weird as all hell! but wow did that brighten my night! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

and thanks, you brighten my week every week. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Sal, this strip again has no punchline. This comic seems to be about you and your amazing ability to score with any woman in any club all with the help of your "totally cool" friends. If you had some jokes in there or maybe SOME self-deprication maybe this strip wouldn't come across as crassly self-worshipping as it does now, but man, at least put some jokes in there or something. The whole strip up to this point smacks of egotism big time. It really doesn't matter if it did happen this way or not.. this is the equivalent of someone sitting in a bar bragging about how they could nail any woman they want and then they proceed to tell endless annoying stories about who they managed to seduce and when. People don't usually like the guy telling the stories, because he comes across as A) a lying braggart and B) a rather scummy womanizer. Right now, Broken Donuts smacks of both.

Let me know when there's a joke or maybe when you're done kissing your own ass, and I'll gladly continue reading the strip. I'm sorry for being so harsh but I feel I've given this thing a fair chance.

I think it is pretty funny and an accurate portrayal of what happens in clubs.

Anime sucks. I just thought that I should add that little bit of information since you decided to slam one of your "peers." You have as much tact as some idiot with 3,000+ postings and an inflated ego.

hey auto,

thanks for chiming in. im sorry its not working out for you, but the strip isnt going to be for everyone. im not trying to tell a joke in every episode, i never said it was that kind of strip. and as far as personally going after me there, i dunno exactly how to answer you, man, but i'll try because i dont like to shy away from anybody's comments. im not sure why making it so personal to begin with though, these are characters in a story, yeah a semi-autobiographical story, but its a story nontheless. let me ask you this, besides this last episode which was more of a fun poke at like manly at a bar codes of conduct than anything else, when has sam sported any sort of ability to actually score? he's been a victim more than anything else! who's lying or womanizing?

anyways, again im sorry if it hasnt been to your liking, but i thank you for reading up till now.

What pisses me off is these posters who chime in just once or twice, long enough to say some really stupid comments, and are never heard from again. Does this comment above sound like Sal is a braggart womanizer? Jeez, he apologized to this schmuck because he or she disliked him so much to get very personal out of nowhere. I would've used different words myself. Maybe the strip isn't for this punk 'cause (s)he sucks /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
