I guess those questions are actually kind of compelling.

1) Because people and animals eat different things. Since the digestive systems only absorb certain nutrients, the stuff that's left over will be different depending on what was eaten. Therefore, the waste (s***) expelled from the body after digestion will be different.

2) Peoples around the world live in different cultural contexts. Certain linguistic rules apply within those contexts. Therefore, languages (which are dynamic) develop differently in different places. If a population of English speakers moved to a different planet and were isolated, their language would noticably change within a single generation.

3) This has to do with the reflection and absorption of different wavelengths of light. This is much like the answer to why the sky is blue. If a particular type of matter absorbs all colors (wavelengths) of the light spectrum except blue, an item made up of that matter will appear to us to be blue. This is because that is the only color of light reflected from that item that our eyes can recognize. There are even more colors that our eyes don't have the ability to see because even our eyes are limited by which wavelengths we can perceive.

I'll be the first to admit that these answers are only the basics and don't represent the whole truth.
