but I love the song 'Mo money, mo problems' by Puffy, Mase and Biggie Smalls. I remember during the transition year of 8th grade and 9th grade, i was jaming to that song. Dancing, knowing all the lyrics...that is my favorite jam. I love it! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

all off a sudden a few things come to mind, those big puffed up coats they wore, terrance and phillip singing "I thought I told you that we won't stop" in the south park movie, and the film "mo` money" by the wayans brothers

I just realized I hate rap. I still listen to it sometimes, but I hate it.

Rap and Country Music go hand and hand.
They both suck as a music, but for some reason they have there own music awards and thousand of listeners. There could be worst things. Yoddling could be popular with the kiddies

Rap is the function the artist makes, Hip Hop is the genre. As for country, there are different types of country, as there are different types of rock. I would LOVE to hear your vast debate on how all hip hop and country "suck". It would be interesting.

*Not that this post matters*
Alright, I partially retract my previous statement. I like these (modern) rappers (I just can't help myself):
1. Ludacris (he knows about that Southern ho-spitality)
2. Wu Tang (particularly ODB)
3. Busta Rhymes
4. Snoop & 2pac (old school)
5. Bone Thugs 'N Harmony (especially Krayzie Bone)

You got me not all rap sucks. But a large majority of the music that is put out is crap. The main reason for this is sampling. I dont care how much rap stars and fans spin it, Using another persons song to make your own is not talent. Talent is making a unknown song and coming out with a hit. This is just my opinion.
Also Hip-Hop is a culture, it involves Clothes, lifestyles, music, the way people talk. Hip-Hop is a culture just like Disco was a culture.

1. Ludacris (he knows about that Southern ho-spitality): God, I can't stand him sometimes. He annoys the crap out of me, but has some good songs.
2. Wu Tang (particularly ODB): I loved ODB's song, Got cho money or whatever it is called, but other than that Wu-Tang sucks.
3. Busta Rhymes: Yeah, he is cool.
4. Snoop & 2pac (old school): Snoop was great back in the days when he first came out with 'What's My Name.' I remember having a crush on him and got grounded for having his poster on my bedroom door because my mom said he was a killer. And I heart 2Pac.
5. Bone Thugs 'N Harmony (especially Krayzie Bone): Crossroads was the only great song from this now defunct rap group.
Just giving you my opinion on your choices Droogan (not that you asked for it, but I just wanted to share). Funny thing, my boss is one of the rappers from NWA's neighbor.

I loooooooooooves me some rap. Rap and rock are close to interchangeable as far as my likes go. Rock comes first, but rap isn't far behind. There are just some days when you gotta bump some Tupac. Sadly, those days are behind me. Stupid CD theives.
