Just saw this movie and it is great. Superbly shot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a small budget, a great story ( based on real events ) superbly acted, though many in the cast were amateurs who have never acted before!

Shocking in parts with some very disturbing scenes, very powerful stuff indeed, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! ! !

The DVD was supposed to come out on the 17th, but it got pushed back to July because they re-released the film in theaters. I was counting the days for that DVD.

Here here! What a lot of people don't know if that the movie is not some stodgy movie, it's this wacked-out gangster movie. It's really intense and really powerful. Very highly recommended.

The DVD pushback upset me as well. I live miles from any independent cinema, so by the time I hear about these flicks, I have to wait for rental.
