Im just going to say two things. First, you should at least see the movie before you go asking this question
and second most of the people on Poopshoot from what I can tell hate it when you post about Kevin smith movies. Yes this was in his movie but this board isnt about Kevin smith movies. Its about random shit thus Poopshoot.
I cant believe you dont know if there is nudity or not in Mallrats, That just shows you havent seen the movie and are some sort of special student at whatever school you go to. Do the future a favor and dont spawn.

Stop being a [censored] assmonkey! I haven't seen Mallrats until this year when I went with some of the west coaster poopshooters to see it and I am not a special ed student. However, I did get a couple chances to ride in the small yellow bus. That was kick ass.
And to answer your question Cool, the movie does have nudity and does feature lots of cursing (but, which KS fillm doesnt) and a couple sexual references. But that is all. If you are asking to show it during a school festive event, then I wouldn't. But, as for a movie date or party, then yeah! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Heal, Bison, heal! He was just asking a simple question...the movie is rated R for a lot of language, and i believe brief nudity, with some sexual content.
and bison, we don't always mind talking about kevin smith movies, but they at least have to be something pertaining to them. Not just "I love Kevin Smith and his movies," or quoting J&SB.

Not at all. There is a specific sub-set of fans that come here and quote Jay's lines from J&SBSB. That gets old, especially since the admins requested that people not do that. But an actual discussion of Smith's films probably wouldn't draw any heat from the locals.

I was saying he was slow for asking about a movie he hasnt seen, not because he just recently got brought into the world of View Askew. Hope I didnt offend you Ilovepapasmurf /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
The reason I got so upset is cause the nudity in the movie is the fortune telling seen and I love that part. Cause it a genius moment in Film directing and writing. At that point the optimist becomes the pesimist and vice versa. [censored] Beutiful.

yeah, so it has nudity, but is it like full frontal? if not which body parts? and would the movie be good for a 13/14 year old birthday party with kids who have seen j&sb strike back? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

What the hell are 13/14 year olds doing seeing J&SBSB? Shouldn't they be watching Finding Nemo and Shrek? To what is this world coming?

I dont want to give too much away, but yeah is full frontal and Its really funny. Its not a sex thing when they show da boobies(lol). It right along the level of J&SBSB with the sexual humor and Language. But its not the crazy. Its a much smarter comedy than Jay and silent Bob. Personally is my favorite of the Jersey Trilogy(or Quintology.....whatever.)

boobs.....thats all you need to know, my friend.
don't show it to 13 and 14 year old kids you sick minded fool! do you want them to repeat snoochie boochies every 10 seconds?

11-06-2003, 04:58 PM
Ok, either that you are 13 years old and think that it is ok to say boobies in every post or you are a dude that has to say the word because you know that you wont see any in the near time too distant future...

There is the fortune telling scene and a brief shot of Joey Lauren Adams pulling down (or up?) her shirt.
Actually, it appears to me and others here at the 'shoot, that YOU are the "special student" in this case.
Add to that, I feel bad now that I used the term "special student", calling you one is an insult to them. It's not their fault they might have a learning disability.
You on the other hand, are a different case all together.
Commander Cool asked a totally valid question in an intelligent manner.
Go back to your Virtua Fighter or what have you, and say hi to mickey rat while you're at disney.
So... C. Cool. About your question.
The MPAA and co. are very full of themselves. Yes, there's a bit of cursing and some mention about a sexual practice that is very uncomfortable. Yes, there's some "soft drug" use, but that's about it from what I remember. As far as a "sex scene", the elevator scene to me was'nt one at all. Nudity... There was the "Ass towel" scene, but that was the same type of nudity that you could see on NYPD Blue years ago, on regular broadcast T.V.. Ugh... Dennis Franz's Ass... Bleech! Anyway, back to the subject.... And there was the three-nippled fortune teller, and the dressing room topless scene.
To the MPAA and censors, I guess all of that warranted an "R" rating.
Bollocks I say!

Ok so lets see if I get this right so I dont keep getting it wrong!!
Its cool to talk about the View Askew movies and such and ask questions about the movies no matter what they are as long as they are asked in complete sentences and intelligent prose
It is not ok to talk about View Askew movies in that ohh so annoying Fanboy manner, using quotes from the movies and asking if Kevin Smith posts on this board.
Sorry its been such a bumpy ride guys, but Ill try harder to make it on everyones good list as opposed to everyones shit list. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
I believe Tom summed it up best.

Alright, I've been racking my brain over this since I first saw KingBison's avatar. It reminds me of this late nineteenth century ashcan painting. It's got a kid who looks a hell of a lot like that. I cannot remember the title of the painting, or the artist. It's really pissing me off.
Any other Art History students, current or former, who know what the hell I'm talking about?

it sort of looks to me like a cross between oliver twist and the artful dodger from the 1968 musical movie. but also a bit like an anime character, and also like a woman. Very sight attracting avatar indeed
I think I remember it from one of the fighting video games.
For some reason, I'm thinking it's from one of the Capcom street fighter series, or one of the SNK king of fighters series.
Hmmm.... I have seen it before.

Dang it came to me in a flash when Jim posted that. I think you got it. It's from the background of the Chun Li chinese scene in Street Fighter 2. I think. Maybe. Or Street Fighter 3. I think the kid's riding a bicycle in the background.

Not really, the origins of KingBison are unknown but from what I can remember I was drunk at a bar and I started to ride the mechanical bull. I yelled that I was KingBison king of the bison lol. And that is how it came to be. My avatar is from King Of fighters 98
