So, I saw the preview to this 'Smallville' last week and was so excited to watch it. As 8 p.m. rolls along, I turn it to Smallville, with my Mickey D's chicken nuggets, ready to watch the show (and of course see Tom Welling shirtless...man that man has the nicest body. Ok, I'm getting off topic here) and I begin watching it and think to myself, this is a total rip off of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 2 episode. You know the episode where couples at Sunnydale are reinacting a murder that happened in the 50s (or could it be 60s). I am very saddened by this and the show still has 20 minutes to go.

Oh, and has this show ever been this cheesy!?

Oh, I did'nt know that, as I did'nt watch Buffy.
I thought the episode was alright.
Hmmm... So was Jor-El really sent to Earth because it was a rite of passage, or was he sent as a scout?
Next week's episode looks kind of silly by the way.

smallville is the poor mans Buffy.
In Buffy you dont have to sit through half a season worth of OH MY GOD I HAVE POWERS. She has them she knows how to use them, lets go kick ass. Also there were these things called characters in Buffy, you cared and loved (hated) some. Others you identified with. Smallville has...the people who couldnt get onto Dawsons Creek.

I would have Drowndeded his ass in the creek (OH MY GOD A JAY AND BOB STRIKE BACK REFERENCE! I shall be beaten untill happy!)

Yeah, it was very much a rip-off of that Buffy episode. Smallville is hit and miss, and this one was a miss.

Angel on the other hand was truly suberb. I think I might be willing to officialy declare it the funniest show on network TV. This is shaping up to be a very, very good season.

I am very saddened that we always have a thread for each Smallville episode.

Tee Hee! I loved that.

Everytime I watch Smallville, it has to be one of the crappiest episodes of the season. I am highly pissed about how the show is going this season..

But, nothing can beat seeing Tom Welling shirtless...damn....Oh, and Michael Rosenbaum or whatever is pretty cute too, but Welling's body is amazing...I don't think I can say it enought...but it is...oh yes yes it is..........

Smallville is such a good show, Im glad there are so many fans of it on this message board.

I heard a long time ago that the WB was putting out a Bruce Wayne show kinda like smallville. It was going to be based on teenage bruce while he traveled the world learning all the skills he would need to be Batman. I always thought that would be a really cool show. But I guess that one is going down the poopshoot(lol) after birds of prey tanked.

Oh, hey. Mentioning Michael Rosenbaum. He graduated about six years before me at my high school, Castle High, in Newburgh, Indiana. Just thought I would bring that up.
