hi, was there or is there ever gonna be a hitch hikers guide to the galaxy movie? if anyone has any info on this plz tell me i'm dying 2 know!!!!

Instead of asking all these "Has this been a movie" questions, why not try Google? And yes, it is from 1982 (I believe), and Peter Jones and Dave Learner were in it.

I remember watching it as a few times, but I have not seen it in about 10 years.

There is a radio play version as well. It's now on CD and most libraries tend to carry it.

it wasn't a movie it was a short series shown on BBC (arent all out series short lol) but Im sure with alot of people asking for it they would show that series. Just expect Dr Who type sets, but overall it was still funny.

Supposedly the new movie is back in production again, as they have a final script and directors attatched. Jay Roach said he will help produce it, but is too busy to direct it himself. It kept going in and out studios, but last I heard it has a budget and casting might begin this year.
