Full house I don't care for a lot, mainly because of Mr. ABC's acting.
DJ DID get hot in the later years though mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Candace Cameron mmmmmmmm.
The thing I am getting pissed off about, is they are showing less and less episodes of Cheers, which is probably my favorite sit-com of all time. (well, at least in the top 3.)

What about Wings? Wings is awesome.

Wings is okay, there are a few episodes that are down-right hilarious, but nothing compared to Cheers, those zany guys!

Cheers season 2 on DVD early next year. Hopefully they'll step up production, since they aren't giving us much in the way of goodies.

...of a hair covered ass?
While Full House annoys the hell out of me these days, I can't deny that I watched it religiously as a kid. Uncle Jesse taught us all how to be bad ass back in the day. Well, as bad ass as ABC would allow.

Anyone else remember when Nick at Nite used to show good shows that you couldn't see anywhere else? Full House is all well and good, but I can catch that like three times a day in syndication on TBS. Why don't they show stuff you can't see anywhere else, like Welcome Back Kotter? Now that was a show.

Welcome Back Kotter is not on after Square Pegs on TV land. Don't ask me how I know this, but when I can't sleep, I watch TV land. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Awww I loved One Day At A Time. I used to watch it on the E network before I went to school.

GOOD GOD, you watched it on the E Network?
Man, when I was a kid, that show was airing.
I had the biggest crush on Valerie Bertinelli!

I sure did. I was borin in 1983, so I am thinking that was when the show first ended. Plus, I was into cartoons as a kid. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Yeah, it was about 20 years ago.
I just watched the episode where Becky and Jesse have Nicky and Alex and I was balling like a baby. Such a cute episode. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I liked Full House until Howie entered in. There is just something not quite right about the whole "I Love Howie, and Im gonna marry Howie". It ain't bad, but it doesn't quite sit right with me.
Although, there is the Candace Cameron factor....
Overall, I didn't like the show too much.
My fav from that genre is probably Growing Pains.

Another great one was Family Matters. My friends and I usually watch the show for five seconds and then predict the entire episode: what problems will occur, who will have a conversation with who, what music will be played, and the funny conclusion. The fact that the show is so formulaic is what makes it fun to watch. And besides, who else can forget Carl getting mad at Urkel every week?

Who rembers blossom?
How about Good times? or Rhoda ? Just curious.
I wonder, there is an ongoing thread for "cult classics" down a few, what about "Classic Sitcoms" Of all time, what is everyones favorite?

I think I was the only girl at my school who did not have a crush on joey lawrence. Sure the tight pants were nice (great ass), his fab. word, 'Woah!', but the hair turned me off on him..
