I'm the only philosophy major around these here parts, but that question's a bit unclear (possibly because I just started ancient greek philosophy this semester). Not to mention it's hard to tell where exactly the two differ. Early to middle dialouge distinctions aside, most socratic interrogations pertain to precise definitions. While these succeed in proving what little wisdom any of his victims possess, many have argued that such questions implied a theory of forms (though not necessarily Plato's). I'm more inclined to say such quibbles over semantics were brought on by the subject, not Socrates, the inquisitor, and (if the Crito is to be taken as a genuine account of Socratic theory) Socrates seems more pragmatic, choosing actions based on their consequences and coherency rather than distinguishing and following the "Just in itself" for itself.
Plus, I'd have to side with Aristotle who said following Heraclitus made Plato a dumb ass. Most of the Platonic theory of forms take's Hery's bullsh!t as a given, and so it looks for the authority with which one may decree the world as coherent, when in reality, saying all static states are indistinguishable from one another ignores the fact that the world changes states with order, if only in respect to a single perspective (something the theory of relativity might endorse).
EDIT: In hindsight, that post probably qualifies as "object is greater than idea." Although I don't think an outside world is at all necessary to give coherency to sensory perceptions (esse es perceptare if ya asked me), so the word "object" would be subject to an exhaustive process of definition.

Unfortunately many a young man has gone to prison, not for killing the 'perky' types, but for doing other things to them.
