Director and comedic genious John Waters. I've only seen three of his films, and I hear they are just the tip of the iceberg compared to the other films he made. Serial Mom is one of my favorite movies ever along with Cecil B. Demented. Hairspray was also pretty funny but I still haven't seen the much acclaimed Pink Flamingos. After hearing about the kind of things he is into, he seriously should make a horror flick. John Waters forever.

Hairspray is one of my favorite films. I love it.

But, that is the only John Walters film I have seen.

I may be the only person who actually enjoyed Cry Baby.

Don't worry - you're not alone - I too am a fan of Cry Baby! I own it on video but haven't watched it in a while. You gotta love that '...guess I'm doing time for being young..." /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

This may seem a stupid question, but who is John Waters?

A disgusting guy obsessed with violence who also happens to direct halarious movies. He also is one of the gayest men in Hollywood, many of his movies feature a cross-dressing fat man. The Cross-dressing fat man plays a female character, too.

[cracks knuckles]

John Waters is not in Hollywood. He lives about 15 miles from me, in B-more, and will never leave. My roommate's all time favorite movie is Cry Baby, and I adore it too. I have and autographed copy of Serial Mom where he drew his signature moustache on K Turner, he and Divine went to my high school (he and the school agree they don't like that fact), I've seen Polyester with the smell-a-round card, shared a drink with the man, and was an extra in Cecil B.

There's more, but isn't that enough?

No? Okay, thanks to my new job freedom, I'm gonna look into working on his new one tomorrow.
