let me be the first to say it SUCKED.
*SPOILER WARNING* - don't read if you don't want the movie to be spoiled.
Geez, what a flop. I guess maybe it's just because I actually wanted to see Cabin Fever but they cancelled the late show due to the fact that my buddy and I were the only 2 buying tickets (although MM only started 10 minutes before CF). This movie (MM) was very dissapointing- so dissappointing that I got on the 'Net to post my feelings even before bed after the end of a 19 hour day. Uneven acting from Cage, a ludricously transparent "twist", irritating and ill-fitting period music and to be fair, my chagrin at Cabin Fever's cancellation, all combined to make for a very unpleasant moviegoing experience.
Anyone else think the actor playing the shrink just sucked the life out of the room every time he was on screen? Anyone find the girl irritating as hell? Hey, I felt sorry for her too, but she's crying in 50% of her screen time. And that ending? What the hell?
Wow. Guess we should have seen Once Upon a Time in Mexico instead, but it had already started, and I HATE missing scenes in movies.
Oh well, maybe tomorrow, Cabin Fever. Unless I read here that it sucks.
