John Ritter- 1948-2003 (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20030912/us_nm/people_ritter_dc_10)
He made me laugh so many times growing up, watching three's company!

And his birthday would have been next week.

He still has a movie coming out though!

He and Cash both returned to mainstream success in their fields, and now that they're gone I can only think that at least Ritter saw that again, as well as his son in a hit movie, and that Cash is reunited with his love.
I'm taking more introspective smoke breaks than normal today.

Sad. His new show was really picking up some good ratings. I was a fan, and he will be missed.

I'm not saying this to be rude but is the show now cancelled?

I don't think it would be wise of ABC to continue the show without John Ritter. He made that show.
I think the best tv appearance he made besides being cast in Three's Company, was him playing 'Ted' on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. He played a great villian. He will be missed.

They were in the middle of filming an episode so Iam wondering this, will they air the episodes that are finished and then end where they didn't get them done or will they not air the new ones.

I have no idea what ABC is planning on doing, but they must have some shows in the can. Perhaps they will show them, but I would be surprised if they did. They also do not have enough for sindication, which is sad.

Charlie Sheen could be the new dad.?
I liked 8 rules, and I also liked 3's company. I didn't always care for his liberal views, but I respected and admired him as an actor.

They can't replace Ritter. That wouldn't be right. Even though Sheen might be looking for work (after 'Two and a Half Men' gets cancelled) we shouldn't replace Ritter.

I don't think that we have to worry about it. ABC has no reason to try and continue that show. It was doing well because of Ritter and it would have no real chance without him (plus, I think it would just piss off a lot of people if they tried).

This reminds me of how much newsradio sucked when they lost Phil Hartman.

Why did they have to take John Ritter?? Another thing, since he has already lived the dream of 2 girls at the same time do you think maybe it will be four's company for him in heaven?

I keep thinking that he will just come back and be like "I'm joking!' cause he's like one of my favorite actors. I went back and watched Problem Child 2 this morning {I still have it on video}. Great Movie.
