Yea, I got up at 5:30 in the morning today, when I usually am up at 7 a.m. for work, but I couldn't sleep.

So, I was watching tv, having my morning apple, and turned to VH-1 classic and Pop Show was on. I saw three videos in the row that I can remember:
'La Isla Bonita'
'Walk Like a Dinosaur (yea I think that is the title)'
and
'Physical.'

Good times... good times.

Woke up this morning at 6. At least I thought it was 6 until I realized it was 7 something. Had an 8 o'clock class so I made a mad dash for the shower, gulp down a glass of milk faster that you can say curdle, grabbed an apple from the fridge, pick up my backpack and ran out the door. I was halfway to campus before I realized that I had picked up my housemates bag by mistake.

This is just not a way to start the morning.......

It's 'Everybody Walk the Dinosaur'.

I don't know why this is, but I love getting up early in the morning--the only problem is, whenever I do, my stomach gets upset. Everybody has always told me it's good to eat something in the morning to get my metabolism started, but it always backfires on me. Go figure.

Anyway, I know what you mean--it is nice, because I always get a lot more done that way. And, it's nice to see the sun rise too /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I like getting up early but every time I do I'm tired for the rest of the day. It's weird.

I'm the same way, with the stomach stuff.

yeah same, I pretty much have to go to the bathroom 30 mins after eating in the morning to throw up what I just ate so I usually end up starving myself until around 10:00 or noon.

yeah...I'm hungry when I wake up earlier than usual. after a light meal, it doesn't feel comfortable. but i'm not a morning person. i'll be mostly in a daze in the mornings. perhaps i should start some exercising routine like jogging. yeah...y didn't i think of it all this while? oh yah....i was juz plain lazy and unmotivated. oh bother....guess i'll just go back to being a night owl

I'm a morning person. I love getting up early in the mornings. Especially before everyone else gets up. It's just the sense of anticipation of having gained more hours compared to the others and it's like you own the morning.

i'm a morning person. usually awake by 5am (often earlier....and it doesn't really matter what time i go to bed either!) but its a good thign. I find that i can get so much done at that time as there are no other distractions around...

although i have developed this bad habit of waking up at 5am and getting into the office for 6.30am!! i think i should probably but a stop to that...considering i never leave before 7pm!!

But it's always easier to be a morning person if you go lights out earlier during the nights. Imagine going to bed at 3am and waking at 5am. You're to have a hellish day if habits like that are kept up.

I was on a red-eye flight on Jet Blue and can't sleep on a plane. However, that airline rules as they have free direct TV on each seat and VH1 Classics was a channel. I saw Debarge singing "Rhythym of the Night" aahhh yeah.

Otherwise, I abhor mornings and do everything in my power to be asleep between the hours of 6:00 AM and Noon.

I teach school, so I have to be up at 6:40 in the A.M. Not hung over up, not bleary eyed staring at my desk until 10 up, but ready to deal with kids up. Fuck you all who sleep in late. YOU ARE THE ONES WHO ARE THE BALL-LI *thwip*

I substitue teach so I can just pop on a movie for the kids and then play games online. The school has moviepoopshoot.com blocked.

Boy, I'd hate to have you sub in my room. Bad subs equal lost productivity- try to teach something, dude!
