What do you look forward to at the end of the day? For me, it's a good cigar, a nice brew in hand, good Irish music playing in the background, and a pretty young lady to keep me company. And, of course, peace of mind.

What about you guys?

Going to get to go home after a hard day at work and pop in a good movie to watch and hang out with my cat Deja.

Also cartoons like these make my day as well:

The things that makes me happiest are sports, music, poetry, Star Wars, Smurfs, A Confederacy of Dunces, thousands of other books, and the world of Tolkien (and not Peter Jackson's Tolkien).

The fact that I was able to get home itself makes me happy.

A diet coke and some dinner involving large amounts of mashed potatoes and gravy, then a few beers, some conversation, and ultimately sleep. Good stuff for an average day, nothing big, but people who let little things make them happy don't stress about the big ones that only come along so often.

Seeing my wife and son after work. Nothing makes me happier than that.

You caught your wife reading your posts, didn't you?

kidding! Good answer -- better than mine because I can't even think of specific things. I'm just amused by all kinds of small things. I will come up with a better answer eventually.

She's actually afraid to come here and witness the geekiness that is me. I keep trying to get her to come, I think she'll like it, but she won't come.

edit* Wow, that reads as being kinda steamy. I want her to "come here".

Huh...I guess that doesn't read any better. Anyhoo, best I can do.

Observing living things, finding out about their awesome habits and seeing how they change as they grow. Talking with friends and seeing everyone in their hearty mood. Pursuing a common goal with friends and succeeding in it. Always having something to look forward to and enjoy doing the things at the present moment. Wish these were already happening and wish boredom doesn't exist. Doing the things that you enjoy over and over again and yet never getting sick of them....that'll be perfect.

When I have had a rough day and want to relax, I throw on my Blackhawks jeresy and run down to the corner bar and get a burger and a brew.

If it's a bad day, I take a long shower with random music blasting. Throw on my jeresy, pull out all my comic book boxes and reorganize them.

If it's a really bad day, then I curl up on the couch in my PJs eating burgers and convince my best friend to come over and make me Kaluha Milkshakes (the solution to the dielma of ice cream or alcohol for comfort) while watching movies.

is that grimmy in the strip?

For me I just like to play happy songs or sad songs, something to clear my head, and more often than not, just playing some ps2 or popping a dvd on and watching a nice film, not always something thats making me happy in a fun way, but something that is just pleasant to watch.

It sure is. I was reading the paper and my boss was in the back room where I work sometimes (since I do two jobs where I work) and I just started laughing. I was having a so so day and that made me smile. I love comics.
