I read the interview and was compelled to respond somehow, but I’m not sure what can be said. Lady Starlite is something else, man. In the hands of someone less savvy and cool that interview could’ve gone south real quick. But you held it together. Well done. It probably also helped that you knew her stuff. Even so, I can imagine her being someone’s nightmare interview. She is a Freak, and that earns high marks in my book. Should I decide to give her a listen, can you recommend a title for the uninitiated?
Thanks!

Wasn't that insane? I thought Josh did great--he didn't let her wackiness overwhelm the interview, and he even got her to kind of break character a bit in a couple places. Much like the Shack Shakers, I'd never even heard of her before--that's why his column is so cool to me.
Never heard her music yet--he's sending me a disc of hers--so I can't offer any opinions there, but...man, what a funny interview. Not many people willing to just try to offend everyone like she did.
