...else because nobody has said anything; but something has been messed up on the boards recently. You know the numbers that are in italics next to the number of replies on the forums page. They usually go away after you view the post. But since Friday(I guess), those number have stayed on. Has this happened to anybody else?

Probably a dumb question, but have you tried refreshing the page? My connection is so slow that's what I have to do. Hope that helps.

This is crap, dude. Now my homepage is changed and it took away the option for me to change it back. I swear, the whole [censored] world's against me.

Dude, take two of these, and call me in the morning.

And, hang in there, buddy. We're rootin' for ya. Whatever you do though, don't take your unit to Bestbuy. They'll ruin your life even more.

No, that would be me the whole [censored] world's against. You just think that because you're standing next to me.

The numbers you are talking about are the number of edits people have made to their posts.

The italic numbers next to the number of replies.

<font color="purple">Code, the numbers of repiles for me disappear when I visit another site and then come back. So, I don't know how many replies are actually written, so I read the whole topic again. </font color>

Some sites don't allow picture linking.

Really? So far, every picture I have posted has shown up.

Truly. Most of the culprits are sites that feature free web hosting. They get their money from advertisers who litter the sites with pop-up ads and banners. The problem with direct linking is that people can see the picture without having to see the rest of the BS. That's why they don't allow it.

Yeah, I hate those pages that won't load, such as the Geocities pages, unless you keep open their little advertisement window.
I had wondered about why some pictures don't show up though. I guess that figures. All I do is search Google though, and usually the pages that are hosted will be readily noticeable upon opening them.
And thanks, TomHarrington, that was a valuable piece of info for our newbies.

You're welcome. Based on your post, the information seemed appropriate. Your opening of "Really?" seemed to indicated a level of uncertainty or disbelief regarding Code6's statement. You then provide evidence from your own experience that you were unfamiliar with the practice. Rather than just parrot Code6's assertion, I figured I'd provide you with information that may help to explain the reason behind the policy. No charge.
Your post does make me wonder how much information that you find here is actually "needed." The above response to your post was definitely not needed, but again, no charge.

Who cares? The grammar police normally only appear when someone is being a jerk and deserves ridicule. Even Ryall makes mistakes every now and then, it's just that he's quicker on the edit than most...being an editor and all.

Speaking of funny spelling issues, I had to link back to one of the classic examples...this had to be one of the funniest threads ever.
Click here to do the Time Warp back to July...and a House of 1000 Corpses! (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=offtopic&Number=13579&page =&view=&sb=&o=&fpart=all&vc=1)
Spelling is a problem we all have from time to time. No big deal, unless it goes as far as this guy took it. It may take a while to load, but just start reading as it does it's magic.

I remember that exchange. That was a lot of fun to read. It's a shame that Chris doesn't have more time to hang out on the boards because he's a great heckler, much like yourself.

Thank you Tom; you are a fine heckler yourself. Now if someone would build a theater with a little balcony for the three of us it would be just like the Muppets.
