Fantasy Hockey

I know I'm a little early since the season doesn't start for a couple of weeks, but wanted to see if you any of you guys/gals wanted to have a fantasy hockey league through yahoo. I'll do all the set up and what not. Let me know either here or drop me a PM.

I was a hockey fan. Then I married a former hockey player who eats, sleeps, and breathes it. It's sort of like loving pizza, and then you marry a pizza maker that only makes pizza for dinner. You get the idea.

My idea of a "hat trick" now is finding a hat with large muffs on the side to block out the constant hockey talk. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

Well, I don't folloew hockey much. But if I do, that would mean hours upon hours of misspent time mercilessly over who's who and who should kick whose ass.

I'm more of a basketball fan myself.

My mom is a Packer fan and my late father was a Bears fan. Imagine my life growing up. There were times I thought that a normally happy married couple would end up in jail for a domestic dispute.

I only acknowledge basketball's existence when the Chicago Bulls are doing well. Therefore basketball does not exist at the moment.

Can you tell I'm a dead dog Chicago fan? I root for all Chicago team and hope they win, but I acknowledge the fact that they are less than perfect. Except the Cubs. They suck. Go White Sox!

Wow. I can imagine. My sister is dating a Packers fan right now. Thye didn't like him much to begin with, but that nailed his coffin shut for most of them.

2 Reasons:
1) I had a perverse crush on Steve Young and Joe Montana growing up, and always cheered for them because it was a middle ground between the War of the Roses (and I mean the parents, not the Rose Bowl)

2) I lived south of S.F. a couple of years ago, and got to spend a season going to games. It cemented me for life as a fan. I did catch one game last year when I was out there.
