I`d get people like Ray Liotta to be tommy, and other well reknowned gangster actors to do their peice, assuming it might be a mix of all chracters I'd probably have Damon wayans as 8-ball
Forget all these young actors you cant imagine people in the rap industry and teen angst to be gangsters yet, wait till they are 40 and fat then they can play man roles (i.e when they have lost their boyish good/ugly looks)

hell yeah, GTAIII's "flashback" station was practically playing the scarface soundtrack. And tommy's mansion in vice city looks alot like the scarface mansion.

GTA is pretty much based on reality. There's no mystic ninjas or flying mushrooms for the screen writers to work around. To screw up a GTA movie would be pretty hard. Take any mob/crime-drama and change the names... you'll get a decent GTA movie.

An homage movie to a game that is a homage game to a bunch of movies sounds kind of lame. The game works, but how much of that storyline do you really want to watch without a controller? There's yet to be a game that's translated into decent cinema. You see anjolina Jolie in a Tomb Raider outftit and you really just want to push buttons.

I'm kind of a heel when it comes to action movies like spiderman, the hulk, x-men etc. No matter how badly directed they may be I still love them. Hell I even have my own copy of the phantom with Billy Zane riding around in his lavender leotards on his white pony! Only thing more suggestive than that is He-Man eh? I haven't heard anything about a GTA movie, but sounds like it could be a good posibility. Look at Mortal Combat. How many great careers did it launch /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
