Confirmed! (http://www.cinescape.com/0/editorial.asp?aff_id=0&this_cat=Movies&action=page &type_id=&cat_id=270338&obj_id=39564)

Love it or hate it, this should start some conversations.

Oh no, what have I done?

That's really all Seth can do, huh? I guess better to do one thing well than to actually try to do something new.

Although at this point in his "borrowing liberally and badly from Matt Groening" career, shouldn't he be working on a show set in the 30th century?

[/ QUOTE ] Did you hear THAT? He said Seth does Family Guy "well!"
Can't take it back.

Nope!

Now it's all anyone's guess until Tipton cracks.

Ryall

Of course, by "well," I mean he's competent in his unfunny suckiness. He's actually mastered the art of being unfunny and sucky. That's the best compliment I can give him.

karmattack

....so you're saying there's a chance.

Ryall

That's what we're gonna call it.

WOOHOO!

ehem - I mean, did you hear that, Meg?

Doh!

I mean...

Sorry Ryall, Family Guy seems to have become a cult classic icon on campuses across America and that filial-funded demographic is bringing it back!

I can see how you might not find it funny, it's humor comes only from utter tastelessness and baffling absurdity, but you don't have to be so bah-humbug about it.

Have you seen the reaction I get from the rabid Family Guy fans when I AM bah-humbug about it? I wouldn't trade those death threats for anything in the world.

Besides, I think Seth McFarlane has become my own personal "baby with one eyebrow" so I have to attack him like this, as befits a mortal enemy.

[Note: if the "baby with one eyebrow" reference, from The Simpsons, doesn't make sense, just wait, I'm sure The Family Guy will soon offer something similar. Curious that Seth announces a new Family Guy project so soon after The Simpsons Season 3, the start of the golden years, became available on DVD for intense study.]

After reading countless debates about Family Guy, and never joining in, I sat down and watched 4 episodes in the last couple weeks.

Hate to say it, but I didn't see what the fuss was about. There are funny moments, but mostly I just wanted to take that time back to nap. It isn't even good enough to get worked up about. Meh.

I knew I loved you. "Meh," indeed.

Tactless savages. Your spurious claims of apathy and sardonic attempts to vitiate will bear no fruit, I assure you. Submit now and I promise your departure will be a relatively painless one.

I think psychofiend has a point, I just think that god should do more greater stuff than make a butterfly land ontop of a retarded boy's head instead of helping me on my finals!

How did this end up being a theological discussion? I thought we were dicussing Family Guy in the first place?

By the way, never saw the show before. Don't know about the rest, but I don't watch cartoons.

I think Star Wars proved that reverence for a creator shouldn't exceed reverence for his creations.

EternalStrife

See? That's why I find cartoons pointless to watch. You almost always end up where you start off anyway....empty, holloew, and a deep longing for sex.

code6enterprises

It's the same with sitcoms, reality shows, and teen soap operas.
