How does Miramax feel?

I'm very curious. Does Miramax partner with Universal at all? Because I'm 80% sure Miramax didn't make Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back...How much would they have to pay to have a movie talk [censored] about them? If anyone has a logical reason I'd like to know. If I was President of Miramax I wouldn't buy into looking like a shitheaded-pansy... would you?

You're 80% off the mark on this one. J&SBSB was produced by VA & Dimension Films, which is a Miramax division. Universal's record division did however produce the soundtrack.

As for J&SBSB speaking badly about them, it was all done in good fun and I'd imagine Bob & Harvey Weinstein (Miramax heads) would be able to see that, as they seem to have a fairly well developed sense of humor (or so I've heard). If I were in their rather expensive shoes, I'd have happily laughed right along with the rest of the audience.
That's my opinion, I could be wrong...
