I know you really dont care for this, but i have talied the votes, and here are the adverage postitioning for all the 5 mainstream movies our ol' boy Kev has dished out for us have been ordered by me and fellow Ghostheads (Ghostbuster Fans) and figured what the hell...
1. Dogma - It's got a great plot, and uses Jay & Silent Bob without overusing them. Don't get us wrong, most people didn't like it, but almost all of us Ghostheads love it because it makes sense to us. (Ghosts, religion, that sorta thing.)
2. Clerks - The original. Dante and Randall are hillarious. Loved the black & white look. I say Brian O'Halloran should have another major part in a VA movie, and not as a relitive to Dante, like Gil, Jim and Grant. I mean seriously, from what I heard about Vulgar, I believe it's time for another mainstream roll.
3. Chasing Amy - Loved the dialogue, plot, and Jason Lee was hillarious. Had a sorta "Get all teary" feel to it, it was still a kick ass movie.
4. Mallrats - If the other three weren't so damn good, this one would be higher on the list! The thing that killed it was the buzzkill, so wonderfully named T.S. Quint. Never write a character like him again.
5. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back - Kevin Smith abandons his (often critized by critics/much loved by fans) visual style in order to create a dumbed-down, mainstream version of the first four movies combined. The only parts worth watching were those where he referenced the other movies. What gets me is that people who haven't seen the others, think this is the best one. I mean, look at the way the boards were April of last year. I have met some dumb people in my life, but those assholes who kept posting the message board post from the movie on here obviously needed to get their asses kicked. The movie was a bit of a letdown for us hardcore VA fans, but I'm sure Jersey Girl makes up for it.
Well, if you wanna check our board, go here: The GBHQ Occult Reference Desk (http://www.ghostbustershq.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi)
And please, be considerite for us fans. We don't make fun of Star Wars fans, so please return the good faith /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
