Is there anything in the works for a new Jay and Silent Bob movie, im new to the boards so i was wondering, cause i didnt want to read the endless amount of threads?

anyway, back to the matter at hand. I read somewhere that a film called "Chasing Dogma" (the sequal to "Chasing Amy") is being made, but i dunno if thats true. Anyway, whats the story gonna be about? Theres not really much you can do with characters like Jay and Silent Bob, i mean look at Wayne and Garth, Bill and Ted et al, same ol' jokes, different situations, and a bitter after taste when you leave the cinema.

Chasing Dogma is the story arch in the comic books that show what happens to Jay and Silent Bob from Chasing Amy to Dogma. There are no plans that I am aware of to be made into a movie. The comics are great and I recommend picking them up.

There is actually a new J and SB movie coming out called "Serving Jay." Basically, Bob changes his name to Soylent Bob and opens a Mooby resaurant. His new item, called the "Berzerker Burger" is a smash hit, until Brodie becomes suspicious of the burger's weed/dingleberry flavor.

Well that's obvious, Silly! Battlefield Snootch is scheduled to come out a few months before Serving Jay. Critics are most likely going to roundly chastize the film because of how overplayed Jay and Silent Bob's relationship is, plus the film is supposed to kind of [waves hand in front of nose]. But in Serving Jay, **SPOILER ALERT** <font color="white"> since Jay dies early in the beginning and Soylent Bob unites with new heterolifemate Brodie while establishing his Mooby restaurant </font color> **END SPOILER** there's hope the mass audience won't connect it with the colossal failure of Battlefield Snootch.

But what about Clerks 3: Big Clerkin'?

It's going to be a prequel to Clerks and will focus on how Dante actually trained Randall to work at the video store. They plan on introducing the character of the girl who died in the swimming pool. She'll appeal more to the youth market and say things like "Mesa think I's fat. Brrrrrrrrr! Mesa like T.S.!" It's set up to be a total failure, which is strange because Dmoney already gave it 4 stars.

And don't forget about the chase scene with Jay, Silent Bob, and Walt Flanegan's dog.

Jay and silent bob in "I'ma [censored] this glitch".
When Leonardo leonardo wants the clerks to sell out. he makes bad robot Jay and silent bobs to kill the real duo. And then the bad robots set about terrorising the Quik stop and RST video. But leonardos plan doesn't work when this is kinda what Jay and silent bob used to do anyway. With the robots terrorsisng the neighboiuthood the real duo cheat death they go to hell and kick S_a_t_a_n`s ass along with his lackees, standupcomic and Dmoney. then they Meet Alanis God and she brings them back to life. With the help of George Carlin as death they go and kick robot Jay and silent bobs ass using one of Silent Bobs Mcguyver/Panthro/Mr T plans. Re-program the bad robots to kill Leonardo. The film ends with the robots being mistaken for the real pair and so the real pair resume their spot. Also jay falls for a girl but it turns out to be George Carlin in disguise despite wearing a padded foam suit.
