Evil Dead a Comedy?

i just saw the movie evil dead and i'm sorry for offending the people who thought it was scary, but i thought that was the funniest movie ever! it topped most comedies on my list. i just think that its funny how they tried so hard to make it scary, but i wasnt scared once when i saw it. man if i want another good laugh i'll see the sequel!

I don't know anyone who thinks it was scary... maybe thrilling at times but damn funny most of the time.

I once found it scary, but aged six and in at a time where the special effects werent laughably poor. 2 scared me even more at the time, mrs professor monster. But now I've grown up and am near immune to the horror genre, with the exception of the odd "made you jump" sections in games.
