Out of curiousity...
Do you guys actually go to movie websites? I'm referring to the specific sites, not the sites that talk about multiple movies.
I've been asking around and I don't know anyone who actually checks them out.
If you do, why? For the trailers? info? which ones are best?
Personally, I just go to apple.com and watch the movie trailers there. If it peaks my interest, then I check it out, but that's just me.

I guess....let me be the first to say
No.
I used to check out Spider-Man when that site first went up. I thought the Spun website was pretty cool. Other than that, I'll check out the rare movie site looking for cast info or something. Bla, bla.....bla.............bla.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Usually, idon't go to movie websites, since they rarely do anything but show the trailer, but I have checked out a couple that I liked:
X-men 2 - It had one of the coolest navigation systems ever, and it had some extra character info.
House of 1,000 Corpses - Tons of photos and creepy looking stuff, but I might be biased since I had been hearing about the movie for years and was excited to be able to see anything at all.
Meh . . . my two cents.

It depends on the movie, really. I have IMDB Pro and there are certain productions I follow. Once the official site link goes up, I'll check it out. Some that I have visited on more than one occasion are:
X2
Seabiscuit
Daredevil
SWAT
Usually these are the more interactive sites that feature lots of updating and additions. I mainly go to Apple.com for trailers, but have been enjoying Trailer News (http://www.the-trades.com/trailers/) as well, as they have links to some trailers long before apple.

Donnie Darko has a cool website, but it is more of a game. You need to watch the movie first, and then there are different levels to move around in.
Check it out: Donnie Darko Website (http://www.donniedarko.com/)
Make sure to switch off all pop-up blocker utilities, or the game won't work.

ditto, so I don't really look at specific movie sites.

I'm with you, I'm usually just checking out trailers via apple.com. However, for Critical Mess, the studios' marketing junk is often a bonanza for working up my graphics.
I really hate how studio movie sites have become such obvious marketing fluff that they don't even try. The most interesting stuff I've seen recently was at the DUMB AND DUMBERER site, if you can believe that. Call me nuts, but I thought it rather clever that they offered "Desktops" that were actually pictures of desks (and to a lesser degree, "Trailers" that were short clips of the things you tow behind a truck)...

Filmforce.ign.com is a bit better for straight up movie updates, and the occasional interview, but c'mon the ol' shoot is my homepage for cryin' out loud.
