In light of the new, less than stellar, overpriced Clerks figures, I was wondering what Kevin still has to whore out (since Jersey Girl tie-ins will probably be minimal).
I really want an issue of White Hating Coon, since they made actual Bluntman & Chronic comics, I've been waiting on this. Hell, I'd settle for a poster of the comic cover.

Well, he hasn't made an inaction figure based on the fans who talk trash about him on his own site yet...

No, but didn't he make a movie where he kicked the crap out of them? My favorite was the priest...

[/ QUOTE ] LMAO Chris.
It does bring to light an interesting question though. And who knows maybe Kevin will read these suggestions. So here goes my very long list of them lol.
Inaction figures of Bartleby and Loki in Armor with wings.
Willam figure with a Magic Eye picture on easel for him to stare at and a button that makes him say "Brenda?" and "Ha ha ha ha! You dumb bastard! It's not a schooner...it's a Sailboat!
Enhanced Box set "Box only" to have room for all 5 movies.
A poster version of the Chasing Amy "4 Way Road"
Lower priced bookends. One of the few items that look great but I haven't brought myself to order....yet. Or preorder rather.
There's a possibility for so much more as well. I just ordered a UK version of the Dogma Poster....hope it arrives soon.

Azrael in white pimp suit with detachable hat to reveal horns or interchangeable heads, one with the hat, one without.
and Probably a cock knocker figurine with a giant fist.

Ouch. But come on, for ten freaking dollars they could have at least thrown in a sound chip. Speaking of trash talkers, I hope Steve-Dave and Walt are in the next assortment. This is where the sound chip would come in handy,
Walt: "And me and Steve-Dave are going to play naked rober."
Oh yea, and a Brodie figure asap, I'm not a huge fan of their animated BB: http://store2.yimg.com/I/jsbstash_1727_2364705
...but I'm far too much of a Mallrats fan to pass such an opportunity up.
Oh, and here's (http://store.yahoo.com/jsbstash/wilblactshir.html) animated Willam, or bizarro Willam if you consider the Mosey-played Clerks Willam to be the origional.

I'm pretty sure Willam, Steve-Dave, and Walt are all included in that Mallrats set they advertise on the back of the card for the Clerks figures.
Am I the only one who wants a freakin' MOVIE POOP SHOOT T-SHIRT?!? Ryall, that lucky bastard, had a cool one when I met him at the Stash...but apparently he needs to feel cool and special so he is hoarding it.

Great then we could all wear to Church on the same day and get some news coverage for the site.
"Poopshooters descend on Churches across the country!"
Ok so I don't normally attend church but I'd still like the shirt.

You don't have a Poop Shoot t-shirt!?!?!? Well I see know how Ryall treats his contributors. You'd think he'd hook you up when he met you out there on his Jersey Girl trip. I bet Kevin hooks his contributors up...you'd think he'd learn a thing or two from Smith.
I'm glad I don't have talent to contribute to Movie Poop Shoot!

Wait, the figures are bad? You're insane, they're beautiful. God, you just can't please some people...
Besides, why would you come to a site Kevin pays for to diss stuff Kevin puts out? That's stupid.

Granted, but by that logic it would be even more stupid for Movie Poop Shoot itself to diss his Kevin's merchandise, which is clearly what has happend (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/toybox/index.html).
I know Mike Crawford works on another site, but doesn't he ever post on the boards? Can't he defend his column? I'm feeling cornered here...

I don't think he dissed the figures at all. I think he gave an honest opinion based on what the average toy buying American would notice about them. Plus he listed quite a few accolades for them as well. Personally they could look awful and I would still like them. Its Jay and Silent Bob for crying out loud. It's not just about the quality, I'm just glad that they exist at all.

He gave an honest review, and he didn't diss the figures so much as say that the stuff he likes in a figure (articulation, accessories) wasn't what the CLERKS makers concentrated on. He also said he didn't like the price, but basically if people want these figures they have to realize that the run of them won't be as large as THE SIMPSONS figures, so it's going to cost more to make them.
I think it's pretty cool that the site isn't afraid to give less than a five star review to CLERKS stuff, on Mike's part (not knowing how the higher-ups would react) and on Kevin and Chris' parts. I don't think it's cool that someone posting on Kevin's board basically said "thanks for the forum, you know that stuff you just put out? I don't like it."
I could be wrong here, but that's what's great about America. That and baseball.

A Poop Shoot T-Shirt is a necesscity.
I would like to put in a request...can we have more girl(aka small woman)-size t-shirts? There are only so many times you can wear a pink Mallrats shirt? A girl needs options!
Contrary to popular belief, buying a guy's shirt in a size small doesn't work the same. We are built a bit, ummmm, different /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I like the look of the INaction figures...and I dont think the price is too shabby to have them around my studio... As a matter of fact, you just reminded me that I have to go out a buy these now. Thanks!
Oh, and I knew a guy that did a hilarioulsy racially mocking comic I met at a few shows--His book was hilarious! But Diamond and retailers were giving him a complete hard time about it. It was well done satire though.

I appreciate the work that went into getting the actual figures produced and designed and marketed, but I still strongly feel that they needed some articulation.
Honesty, if you were Brian O'Halloran, would you want to look at yourself, or play with yourself?
Wait, bad example.
Who wouldn't want a Jay that leans on your monitor as if it was the quick stop? A Silent Bob climbing that bong you bought in a drunken haze over spring break? (its only for tobacco, right?) Sure, they'd lose that seemless look of cartoon characters, but their value could almost justify a $17 pricetag for hardcore fans, which these products are targeting, I assume.

Here you guys are talking smack about me and I almost missed it /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
Hey, I calls 'em like I sees 'em. I don't think I dissed the figures - it was a pretty fair review if I says so myself. And as I tell folks all the time, the reason I break my review up into sections (and why others have copied this style all over the place) is because you can see how the figure ranks on the things YOU like. If I just gave you an overall score, or worse yet, rambled on for 10 paragraphs without any real final score, you wouldn't be able to judge them for yourself as well. This way, you can see I thought the sculpting and paint ops were great - if that's what matters to you, and you could care less about articulation and accessories, you can ignore my overall and come up with your own based on those categories.
See, there is a method to my madness.

Thanks for chiming in Matt, and no you're not the only one! I thought I was the only one riding Chris' ass about getting one of those. I've been nagging since I saw him wearing his toilet-T at Comic-con last year...He keeps blaming it on "the Boss' lack of free time" but I suspect that he likes having the only one, too... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Nice post M.C. (and I don't care if you hate that nickname, I like it), I just got home with Dante and Randal today.
Your review made a lot of sense to me before, and I can't say I disagree much with it after buying them (fyi: I called them "less than stellar" and "overpriced," doesn't mean I didn't consider them worth buying). The paint ops are pretty good (I did see a slight abberation on the first Dante I picked up, so thanks for the warning), I think part of the probelm may have been with the otherwise marvelous sculpt: the transitions between clothing and skin are rather poorly defined, seems like something that could certainly improve later down the line. I actually love the size, because they're perfectly to scale with Buddy Christ.
The biggest issue to me at his point, isn't even the articulation, but the lack of accessories. Articulation isn't necessary for accessories, many figures come with a detailed base, often a part that interlocks with other parts to form a pseudo playset (mcfarlane's done this a couple times). That addition would really help the value, maybe even make them worth $15 or so if the bases were good enough (like randal's movie shelf including a copy of Big Black Cocks and Pearly White Cum). They might fix this for further series, but Willam from Mallrats most likely won't be comming with the picture of a sailboat, and that saddens me.
Oh, and if the make it to series 3, and if each series is still an askew movie, I need a Hooper X figure with a black power fist raised, holding an issue of White Hating Coon.
