Zachary, speaking as someone who lives in Belgium, let me tell you that there is no way this guy is communicating. There are videos online (Randi’s site probably has links) where you can see the facilitator watching what she’s doing with the hand/screen, while the guys head is tilted off to the side with his eyes closed. It’s sick, and if there was ANYTHING to this, a cool million bucks for doing a SIMPLE 5 minutes double blind experiment (blindfold the facilitator, and use an AZERTY keyboard without her knowledge, for example) would be a no-brainer. But they won’t do anything like that.
Unfortunately, Belgium is not known for its skepticism. Homeopathy is still big business here.

for some reason the smodcasts are not appearing in my itunes for 3 to 4 days after they appear here. i’ve resorted to downloading them and then dragging them over to my itunes music file so that i can hear them on time. gotta have my smodcast!

I had the dumbest smile ever as I listened to you talk about climbing up on the roof of your ex’s work with your Batman-eqes coat on. Brilliant.

100 times listener, first time writer;
I’m a 23 year old university student from Germany. A few months before you started doing Smodcast a friend of mine convinced me to give your movies a shot, and even though I like them, they don’t have the same place in my heart as the Smodcast. When I moved places, traveled Australia and had problems with my girl, SMod always cheered me up.
I remember sitting in German public transport and just starting to laugh so hard that everyone around me thought I had lost it.
My best memory though is stealing herbs for cooking from a garden down the street while listening to Brian telling the story on his girlfriend’s mom blowing him.
Last week I visited a friend in the hospital who just had had brain surgery and was very down on the way back as of his condition. #99 gave me enough joy that when I came home, everything seemed fine again.

Gotta say, SModcast 100 TOTALLY DELIVERED! Best SMod I’ve listened to in months, and it’s got me into listening to the whole run of SMods in a big, bad way. Personal favourite line from this one: Scott’s “Isn’t the law fun now?” And of course, the measuring of pussy with a yardstick… a hilarious concept I’ve been trying to get across to my non-SMod-listening friends and failing miserably.
Harkening back to SMod 99 and the Stoned Kev vs. Sober Kev debate, I like ‘em both. It is a bit annoying when Stoned Kev decides to talk with his mouth full. But I’ll live with it.

Neil: First Mr. Smith does not read this site. Second if you listen to the story, you get a few key points. 1. They hung out together, played games, watched movies, and she “allowed” the two to have sex in the other room. This woman is clearly more of a friend than a mother. 2. She was obviously hurt by the break up, she lost a friend in Kevin, and honestly do you think he was a lot different growing up? He was probably as funny, and as personable as he is now, so it would be a loss. She lashed out with her rage at the first thing that would hurt him. She wouldn’t want to encourage at that point, she felt betrayed. Instead of saying hey tubby, my little girl is too good for you, a point I’m sure was brought up many times over by people he knew, she attacked him personally, with something that would cut him. The second part of your argument is that she would say something nasty to him, time heals all wounds, she is long over it, probably grew up some in her own way, and Kevin is famous. A fact that should not be taken lightly. If you hit the lottery of celebrity it brings some special rewards, people who knew you when behave as if you were the closest of friends, it gives them a status.

I don’t know if someone’s thought of this idea before, but it would certainly be useful: a searchable database of SModcasts, sort of like a wiki, in which you look up a word tag, like “Baby Eternity” or “Marty Allen” and it tells you in which SMods it is referenced. Would take some time to put this together, but wouldn’t it be worth it to have a handy reference guide to where you can find Smith and Mosier’s fractured take on any given subject?

thanks to whoever it was on here that turned me on to the adam corolla podcast….it’s really good. perfect for passing the days, weeks, or months between smods. i only listened to smod for a long time. resisted trying anything new for a while, glad i gave other stuff a shot though. any suggestions on anything else? ive also been listening to harland williams podcasts.
